Introduction: These new perforated inserts are truly custom accessories designed to fit on your factory ZR1 engine

shroud available illuminated and non- illuminated.

Liner Information: Your new accessories will come to you with a protective surface liner. Leave this liner in place until

the installation is complete to prevent finger prints and or possible scratches during installation.

1. Thoroughly scrub clean the depressed area of the factory engine shroud with rubbing alcohol to remove any and all

road grime and dirt. Then swipe the area's once with the adhesive promoter provided. This promoter is not a cleaner but

a vital solution designed to accelerate the bond of your new accessory and must be used in order to insure a long lasting

bond.

2. If you are installing the illuminated insert you will need to pilot a small 1/8'' hole directly into the factory shroud. The

location for the hole will be indicated on the new insert. Once both holes have been piloted position each insert in their

locations and check the fit. Although it should not be necessary you may need to tweak the overall shape so that they

match the shape of the engine shroud exactly. This is very important. The new covers attach utilizing only a ¼” bond

around the perimeter of the insert so it is important that all of the surface areas are utilized for adhesion. A thorough

and complete surface preparation and overall shaping is vital for a reliable and long lasting bond. Once you are

confident that your new parts are shaped perfectly and that the surface is ready to bond to slip the wire (if installing the
